No. 39 Women's Tennis Travels to College of Charleston

The No. 39 NC State women’s tennis squad travels to face the College of Charleston on Monday Mar. 3 at 10 am. NC State enters the match with a 5-3 record and over a week off since its 6-1 defeat of No. 72 Princeton. Charleston is 6-1 on the season with their only loss coming against No. 30 South Carolina.
Julia Roach and Catherine Grotz have led the way for the Pack this season. Grotz is 6-1 in singles this season at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Roach, currently second in school history in singles victories, is 6-2 this season playing primarily at No. 4. Roach has also partnered with teammate Lenka Hojckova to post a 6-1 record at No. 2 doubles.
Amanda Becker is 6-1 on the season for the Cougars while playing primarily at No. 6 singles. The tandem of Holly Dowse and Keely Mulligan are 5-1 in doubles at No. 1 and No. 2 for Charleston.
The women’s tennis team will return to Raleigh to begin ACC play against Virginia Tech and Virginia on Mar. 8 and 9 at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
