Men's Golf Completes Second Round

Raleigh, N.C. - For the second straight day, the NC State men's golf team finished with a team score of 296 (+8), in Saturday's second round at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational in Statesboro, Ga. The Wolfpack is currently at 16-over through two rounds, and in 15th place.
For the second straight day, freshman Matt Hill paced the Pack. Hill shot an even-par 72 on the day, which included three birdies. Hill now sits at two-under for the tournament, in a tie for 12th among individuals.
Kent Copeland matched his score from yesterday's first round, as he shot a one-over (73), and is at two-over through two rounds. Andrew Byrd improved six strokes from yesterday, and also shot a one-over (73) today.
Rounding out the Pack golfers in today's second round, Chase Duncan shot a six-over (78) for the second straight day, and Darren Blair finished at seven-over par.
The final round will be played tomorrow.
