Action Begins at NCAA Diving Zones on Friday

RALEIGH, N.C. NC State will have four divers competiting at the 2008 NCAA Zone B’ Diving Championships, held March 14-16 at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center in Auburn, Ala. Alex Dambly and Austin Hampton will represent the Wolfpack men’s diving squad, while Chelsea Ale and Kristin Davies will dive for the women. All four divers will compete in each of the three events; the 1-meter dive, 3-meter dive and platform dive.

On opening day, Friday, March 14, action begins at 12 p.m. with the women’s 1-meter and the men’s 3-meter. Saturday, March 15 will see the women’s 3-meter and the men’s 1-meter starting at 12 noon. Action will wind to a close with the final day, Sunday, March 16, as the platform dive is held. The women will go at 10 a.m., while the men follow at 1 p.m.
