Hardiman Wins EAGL Rookie of the Week

NC State freshman gymnast Brittney Hardiman has been named EAGL Rookie of the Week after turning in a pair of fourth place finishes in the all-around this past weekend. She finished fourth at the Governor's Cup with a 38.850 before following that performance with a career-best 39.175 for a fourth place showing against No. 16 Auburn, George Washington and Texas Woman's University.
Hardiman ranks fifth in EAGL with an all-around average of 38.608 and is fourth in the vault with an average of 9.787. Her season-high was this Sunday in Reynold's Coliseum in the quad-meet, with her 9.875 good for a second place finish. She was second in the vault at the Governor's Cup on Friday night as well, posting a 9.825.
This was Hardiman's first weekly honor from EAGL.
The No. 25 NC State gymnastics team will travel to Athens, Ga. to take on No. 1 Georgia on Friday night.
