Hardiman Named EAGL Rookie of the Week

NC State freshman gymnast Brittney Hardiman was named EAGL Rookie of the Week for the third time this season after a strong performance against No. 4 Michigan over the weekend. Hardiman is ranked 25th nationally in the all-around and third among freshmen in the event. Haridman also leads the league in the vault and is the top freshman in the all-around, and second overall.
Hardiman was named EAGL Rookie of the Week on Feb. 5 and Feb. 12, making it three out of the last four weeks that she has been honored by the league.
Hardiman has an all-around regional qualifying score of 38.885, and is 23rd in vault, averaging a 9.845. She ranks sixth on the floor exercise in EAGL, as well.
Hardiman and the No. 16 Wolfpack will travel to the University of Pennsylvania for a 1 p.m. meet on Saturday.
