W. Track & Field Travels to Va. Tech and UNC

The NC State track and field team will send split squads to Virginia Tech and North Carolina this weekend. Ten athletes will compete on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22-23 in Blacksburg, Va., and six will head to Chapel Hill, N.C. on Saturday for the respective meets.
Kayla Lawson (5'07.00") and Alesha Patterson (5'05.00") are ranked sixth and tenth, respectively, in the high jump. The duo will head to Blacksburg to compete this weekend.
Also making the trip north will be DeMiracle Washington, who ranks third in the conference in the triple jump (41'04.25") and sixth in the long jump (19'00.00").
