Women's Soccer "Giving Back to the Game"

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's soccer team has once again started up its schedule of free soccer clinics around the Triangle this spring.
As a service to the local soccer community, the women's soccer coaches and players began offering these free soccer clinics several years ago and the numbers have continued to grow.
"We've done this every spring for about 10 years now,” stated head coach Laura Kerrigan. “It's a great way for our players to get involved in helping out in the community and the kids just love having our coaches and players work with them."
Many former Wolfpack soccer players have gone on to coach soccer at different levels throughout the country.
"We hope that when our players leave here, they will get involved in coaching,” added Kerrigan. “We want them to know how to teach young players the game we love through a fun-based environment.”
As always, the clinics are free of charge.
The schedule of clinics thus far this spring is as follows:
January 26 - Apex
February 15 - North Raleigh
February 26 - Garner
February 27 - Clayton
