Andre Brown: Bowling at The Bowl

Our second day in Birmingham was a lot like the the first day. We had a luncheon, a nice practice again at Birmingham Southern College and then bowling and BBQ at night before some more free time.
The day started with position and team meetings before heading to the bowl luncheon. Both teams were there, and both Coach O'Brien and the Rutgers coach spoke to the room. Also, the great coach Vince Dooley was the featured speaker.
After the meal we headed straight to practice where we went for 21 periods in shorts and shoulder pads. Our last "Thursday" practice of the year will be tomorrow.
After practice we headed back to the hotel for about 30 minutes before heading to a bowling alley and eating Dreamland BBQ. We had a team vs. team competition with Rutgers, and we lost. The outcome Monday will be different!
I'm a pretty serious bowler.... I have my own shoes and ball, and I brought my shoes with me. Corey Tedder was also a good bowler and was on my lane most of the night.
Tomorrow we head to a Civil Rights museum before practice and a comedy club afterwards.
