Forward Courtney Fells missed Saturday's win over Winston-Salem State with an akle injury, while back-up center Tracy Smith was obviously hampered by an injury to the back of his knee. During his weekly radio show on Monday night, Lowe said that neither Fells nor Smith were able to practice on Monday. Lowe also added that he had not yet decided whether he’d allow point guard Farnold Degand to play against the Pirates. Citing disciplinary reasons, Lowe held Degand out Saturday's contest.
