Vera Named All-ACC For Third Straight Year

GREENSBORO, N.C. For the third straight season, NC State senior Lindsay Vera was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Team, as announced Tuesday by the league office.
The Houston, Texas, native was tabbed second team All-ACC for a third time. She led the Wolfpack in scoring for the second straight year and third time in her career with 24 points on nine goals and six assists. Her point total was tied for sixth in the ACC, while her nine goals and six assists each tied for the ninth best figure in the league this season.
Vera capped her stellar career with a goal in her final game against No. 6 Florida State this past Sunday. She ranks among the all-time greatest players in program history with 27 goals and 67 career points.
She started all 20 games for the Pack and converted three game-winning goals in 2008.
