Volleyball to Play Final Two Home Matches

RALEIGH, N.C. The NC State volleyball team will play its final two home matches of the season this week, taking on Florida State and Miami. The Pack will challenge the Seminoles this Thursday, Nov. 20, before battling the Hurricanes on Friday, Nov. 21. Both matches will begin at 7 p.m., with live stats offered via GoPack.com. ACC Select will provide live streaming video of the contest against Miami.
Friday will also serve as Senior Night for Aiwane Iboaya, the Pack’s lone senior. A four-year letterwinner, Iboaya stands 10th in school history for career blocks with 303. She also owns 595 career kills. This year the St. Joseph, Mo., native leads the team in blocks with 88 and is second in kills with 206.
NC State stands at 9-23 (3-14 ACC). Arlee Tamietti has the most kills (311) and service aces (26) on the team, while Kelly Wood’s 457 digs also stands as a team best. Alex Smith has 913 assists.
Florida State (19-8 / 11-6 ACC) is in fifth place in the league, while Miami (24-5 / 12-5 ACC) ranks second. The Hurricanes will play at North Carolina on Thursday before heading to Raleigh.
NC State will end it season next Friday, Nov. 28, in Chapel Hill against North Carolina. Play is scheduled for 1 p.m.
