RALEIGH, N.C. Nearly 3,300 voters participated in the most recent GoPack.com poll, which asked “What former NC State player will have the most success in the NBA this season.”
More than 43 percent chose J.J. Hickson's Cleveland Cavaliers.
Hickson was a first-round draft pick last spring after playing one season with the Wolfpack. His Cavs edged out the Los Angeles Lakers, which have former Wolfpack forward Josh Powell on the roster.
The Chicago Bulls, coached by former ACC Tournament MVP and first-team All-ACC selection Vinny Del Negro and have Cedric Simmons on the roster, came in third, followed by the Portland Trailblazers, which are coached by Raleigh native and former Wolfpack guard Nate McMillan.
