RALEIGH, N.C. The NC State men’s soccer team will return to home action this Saturday night, as the Wolfpack will play host to Gardner-Webb at 7:00 p.m. at the NC State Soccer Stadium.
The Wolfpack is coming off a non-conference win over Florida Atlantic this past Wednesday afternoon. NC State jumped out to a huge lead with five different Wolfpack players netting a goal in the games first 46 minutes, that led to an eventual 5-3 victory.
The Bulldogs come into this weekend’s match-up sporting a record of 3-6 on the season, but have won three of their last four games. GWU is coming off of a 1-0 loss at High Point last weekend.
When the two teams met last season, NC State came away with a 4-0 win at home. The Wolfpack used two goals apiece in each half, and limited the Bulldogs to just two shots on goal for the game.
