RALEIGH, N.C. NC State volleyball will resume ACC action late this week with conference road matches at Boston College and Maryland. The northern swing begins a four-match road jaunt that will carry the team throughout the next two weeks.
The Pack will take on the Eagles in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m., before battling the Terrapins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, in College Park, Md. State has already taken on both opponents earlier this season, downing both teams.
State (9-17 / 3-8 ACC) is led by Arlee Tamietti in both kills (254) and service aces (22), while Alex Smith has lifted 755 assists. Kelly Wood has a team-best 380 digs, while Aiwane Iboaya has recorded 89 blocks.
Boston College (6-17 / 0-11 ACC) remains the only team in the conference without a league win. The Eagles have dropped 11-straight, nine by shutout. Jordan Meredith leads BC with 246 kills, while Brittany Pierpont (384 assists) and Dani Moskitis (306 assists) have practically split time at setter.
Maryland (5-18 / 1-10 ACC) stands at 11th in the conference standings, with its only ACC decision coming over Boston College.
