Wolfpack in the NFL: Week Seven

Multiple former NC State football players had strong games in week seven of NFL play. Brian Clark started his first game with the Buccaneers, and Koren Robinson is making an impact with Seattle. In Jacksonville’s win over Denver, Brian Williams recorded four solo tackles. Quarterback Philip Rivers was productive in the Chargers loss to the Bills, going 22-of-29 for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Here is a recap of this week’s games:
Brian Clark, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: In his first game of the season, Clark caught one pass for 12 yards in the Buccaneers’ 20-10 win over Seattle.
Jerricho Cotchery, N.Y. Jets: Cotchery caught one pass in the Jets’ 16-13 loss to Oakland.
Torry Holt, St. Louis Rams: In the Rams’ 34-14 win over Dallas, Holt had three receptions for 51 yards, including one 20-yard catch.
Marcus Hudson, San Francisco 49ers: The cornerback was inactive for week 7 against the New York Giants.
Scott Kooistra, Cincinnati Bengals: Kooistra played guard in the Bengals’ 38-10 loss to Pittsburgh.
Manny Lawson, San Francisco 49ers: Playing linebacker for the 49ers, Lawson made four tackles in San Francisco’s 29-17 loss to the Giants.
Sean Locklear, Seattle Seahawks: Locklear started at tackle for the Seahawks in the 20-10 loss to Tampa Bay.
John McCargo, Buffalo Bills: McCargo played at tackle in the Bills’ 23-14 win over San Diego, but did not record any tackles.
Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers: Rivers went 22-of-29 for 208 yards and two touchdowns in the Chargers’ 23-14 loss to the Bills.
Corey Smith, Detroit Lions: Smith was inactive at defensive end in the Lions’ 28-21 loss to Houston.
Pat Thomas, Kansas City Chiefs: Thomas played at linebacker and recorded nine tackles, including five solo tackles, in the Chiefs’ 34-10 loss to Tennessee.
Stephen Tulloch, Tennessee Titans: As linebacker for the Titans, Tulloch recorded three tackles, including two solo, in Tennessee’s 34-10 win over Kansas City.
Brian Williams, Jacksonville Jaguars: Williams recorded four solo tackles as the Jaguars’ starting safety in Jacksonville’s 24-17 win over Denver.
Mario Williams, Houston Texans: Starting defensive end for the Texans’, Williams made two tackles in Houston’s 28-21 win over Detroit.
Adrian Wilson, Arizona Cardinals: Wilson and the Cardinals had a bye in week seven.
Leroy Harris, Tennessee Titans: Harris played at center in the Titans’34-10 win over Kansas City.
Tank Tyler, Kansas City Chiefs: Tyler was a starting tackle in the Chiefs’ 34-10 loss to Tennessee and recorded two solo tackles.
DaJuan Morgan, Kansas City Chiefs: Playing at safety for the Chiefs, Morgan made five solo tackles in Kansas City’s 34-10 loss to the Titans.
DeMario Pressley, New Orleans Saints: Pressley has been placed on the injured reserve list due to a fractured foot.
Koren Robinson, Seattle Seahawks: Robinson started his second game with the Seahawks and caught two passes for 23 yards in Seattle’s 20-10 loss to Tampa Bay.
