10/13/2008 12:00:00 AM | Women's Volleyball
RALEIGH, N.C. The NC State volleyball program will host “Dig Pink” night tomorrow, Tuesday Oct. 14, when the Pack takes on rival North Carolina. Action begins at 7 p.m. and admission is free. All fans of Wolfpack volleyball are encouraged to wear pink to help stress the importance of the fight against breast cancer.
“Dig Pink” is meant to raise community awareness for breast cancer and help join individuals together in the fight against the disease.
Donations will be collected at the door during the event. For a donation of just $5 you can receive a pink NC State shirt with proceeds going directly to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund. Another $5 donation will enter your name in a raffle for tickets to the NC State vs. North Carolina men’s basketball game on Jan. 31 at the RBC Center. The winner of the tickets will be announced later that night during the third set of play.
Proceeds will benefit the Side-Out Foundation. Donations can also be made online via this link.
