Wolfpack Back Home Sunday to Host BC

The NC State women’s soccer team returns home to host No. 14 Boston College on Sunday afternoon at NC State Soccer Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
N.C. State has an 8-6 overall record and a 0-4 mark in conference play. Lindsay Vera leads the Wolfpack in scoring with eight goals and five assists for 21 points, which is tied for third in the ACC.
Boston College is 8-3-2 overall and 2-2-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play after falling 3-2 at No. 2 North Carolina on Thursday night in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels scored with just over seven minutes to play to hold on for the victory. Brooke Knowlton leads the Eagles in scoring with 14 points on six goals and two assists, while Julia Bouchelle has nine points with four goals and one assist. Jillian Mastroianni has made 55 saves and owns a 0.88 goals-against-average in net for BC.
