W. Track & Field in Action at Carolina Classic

The NC State women's track and field squad will compete at the Carolina Classic in Chapel Hill, N.C. this weekend. The meet is a two-day event spanning Friday, Feb. 1 and Saturday Feb. 2. The meet marks the fifth of the season for the Wolfpack.
Twenty student-athletes will be competing for the Red and White, including ACC top-10 performances by Kayla Lawson, Alesha Patterson and DeMiracle Washington.
Lawson is fifth in the high jump with a mark of 5'07.00" and Patterson is close behind with a 5'05.00", good for 10th.
Washington, a regional qualifier a season ago in the triple jump, is fourth in the ACC in the event so far this season with a distance of 40'00.00".
