NC State women's track and field finished competition at two sites on Saturday. At Clemson, the women finished 13th and were led by Kayla Lawson and Alesha Patterson in the high jump and DeMiracle Washington in the triple Jump. At UNC, Kara McKenna finished fourth in the mile run in a time of 5:15.23.
Lauren Montgomery finished 12th in the 400 meter dash with a 59.08 to pace the Pack in the event at Clemson.
Also at Clemson, Chapin Payne was 16th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:28.30.
Patterson and Lawson were impressive in the high jump, with both clearing 5'03.00" to take fifth place.
DeMiracle Washington, who finished seventh in the long jump yesterday, came back strong to take fourth in the triple jump with a 39'01.00" in the prelims before a season-high 40'03.50" in the finals.
Dekalah Price was 14th with a mark of 34'10.50" in the prelims.
