The NC State gymnastics team is ranked No. 25 in the national rankings after a strong showing on the road at No. 12 Arizona this past weekend. Perhaps even more impressive have been the individual performances, as Leigha Hancock is ranked second nationally on the beam, and other Wolfpackers are in the national spotlight, as well.
With an impressive season-opening score of 192.350 on the road in Tucson, Arizona, the Wolfpack gymnastics team continues to be ranked in the top-25 nationally.
The team was strong on the vault, and are ranked No. 10 nationally after a team score of 49.000.
In addition, the team ranks No. 15 nationally on the bars and 25th on the beam.
Hancock is ranked second nationally in beam and tied for 16th in vault. For her performance, Hancock was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week, her first this season and 10th overall.
Megan Rowell is 33rd on the vault nationally and Kelsey Lee is the team leader on bars, ranking 37th nationally.
