Sweepstakes Dates: 10/1/07 to 10/28/07

 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local regulations apply. Official rules can be obtained upon request at all Taco Bell restaurants located in the Raleigh/Fayetteville, NC area or by visiting www.tarheelblue.com or www.gopack.com.

 

1. How To Enter:

Log onto www.tarheelblue.com or www.gopack.com and click on Backyard Brawl to complete an online entry form. Sweepstakes runs from 10/1/07 to 10/28/07. Enter as often as you like. No purchase necessary to enter. Sweepstakes ends October 28, 2007 at 11:59pm EST.

 

2. Prizes:

There will be one (1) grand prize winner who will receive eight (8) tickets and two VIP parking passes to  the UNC/NC State game on Saturday, November 10th, eight (8) UNC or NC State Hats and T-shirts and eight (8) Taco Bell certificates each good for Two Free Combo Meals. Estimated retail value of each prize package is $610: $390 for eight NC State/UNC University football tickets and parking passes, $40 for the Taco Bell food and $180 for Hats and T-shirts.  Prize does not include transportation, hotel, taxes, or incidentals. Prizes may be considered income, and taxes on these prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner.

 

3. Drawing: 

One (1) winner will be drawn by a Wolfpack Sports Marketing and Taco Bell representative on October 31, 2007.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Decision of awarding companies and/or their agents will be final.  Winner will be notified via telephone within 24 hours of drawing.

4. Eligibility:

Must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the U.S. to enter (except Florida residents who are ineligible).  Employees of Taco Bell Corp., UNC, NC State, Tar Heel Sports Marketing, Wolfpack Sports Marketing, their franchises and licensees; all their respective subsidiaries, parent companies, affiliates, as well as the advertising, promotional, fulfillment and or judging agencies, and the immediate families of each are not eligible to win. Sweepstakes void in Florida, or wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value. Prize is non-transferable.  Prize recipients will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prizes based upon the retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules.  Limit one prize per name and household. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes in exchange for supplemental prize of equal or greater value.

5. Claiming Prizes/Releases:

Winner must claim their prize within 48 hours of notification by signing and having notarized an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability release form. If a winner does not claim his/her prize within 48 hours, winner automatically forfeits his/her right to the prize. Unclaimed prizes will be awarded by second chance random drawing from all remaining eligible entries. The same notification and verification procedures will be in force until such a time a winner has been officially notified and this individual will have fully complied with these stated eligibility and verification procedures.  By accepting his/her prize, the winner agrees: (a) to release Taco Bell, Tar Heel Sports Marketing and Wolfpack Sports Marketing, their franchises, licensees and employees; all their respective subsidiaries, parent companies, affiliates, and agencies from any and all liability, claims, action or proceedings arising out of and/or for injuries or damages sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in and/or traveling to any prize related activities; as well as (b) consents (except where prohibited by law) to the use by sponsors for promotional purposes in connection with this sweepstakes, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation.

 

6. Liability Release:

Sponsor is not responsible for any late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for technical problems in connection with the transmission or receipt of entry, including faulty electronic data transmission, traffic congestion on the Internet or on the web site, hardware or software error, equipment failure or malfunction, or other online communications problems.  No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor resulting from user's attempt to participate in the sweepstakes or download any information in connection with participating in the sweepstakes.  Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his/her entries) who tampers with the entry process. Caution; any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operations of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event the sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the sweepstakes, sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend or terminate the sweepstakes, and to award the prizes from among all entries received prior to action taken by sponsor.

7. Winners List:  

For name of sweepstakes winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to NC State/UNC Backyard Brawl, Wolfpack Sports Marketing, 4000 Westchase Blvd. Suite 260, Raleigh, NC 27607 after 11/10/07.
