RALEIGH, N.C. - Kasey Harwell has joined head coach Charita J. Stubbs as an assistant coach on the Wolfpack volleyball staff as announced by the athletics department on Thursday, July 19. A 2007 graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. in optical sciences and engineering, Harwell arrives in Raleigh with lengthy playing and coaching credentials accumulated over a short period of time.
"I am looking forward to my first collegiate coaching job and I believe it will be a perfect fit with the program, as well as coach Stubbs and coach Demps," said Harwell. "I look forward to helping improve the program in any way that I can."
Harwell competed with the Club Cactus Juniors program between 1999-2002 and continued with the Arizona men's club team between 2002-05.
