Doughtie, Street Finish In Top-Six at Lady Seahawk Invite

WALLACE, N.C. – NC State sophomore Lauren Doughtie finished fourth at the Lady Seahawk Invitational, which was played at the 6,073-yard River Landing Golf Club.
NC State is not entered as a team, but five Wolfpack golfers are playing as individuals.
Doughtie shot a four-over 76 during Tuesday’s final round to maintain her position after starting the day in fourth place. She finished at +6 (73-73-76=222) over the 54-hole tournament.
UNC Wilmington’s Emily Klein fired a two-under 70 today to garner medallist honors with a –4 (212).
Freshman Emily Street shot NC State’s best round of the day with a three-over 75 to finish in a tie for sixth at +7 (75-73-75=223).
Freshman Kathleen Strandberg moved up eight spots with a four-over 76 on Tuesday to finish tied for 24th at +16 (78-78-76=232).
Classmate Cindel Gwyn also fired a 76 today to place in a tie for 36th at +20 (80-80-76=236).
Joanna Saleeby shot her best round of the tournament today with a 79 to finish 59th at +27 (83-81-79=243).
