Gymnastics Places 12 on EAGL All-Academic Team

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State gymnastics team placed 12 members on the 2007 EAGL All-Academic Team, it was announced by EAGL officials on Monday. A total of 96 scholar-athletes from the eight East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) schools were named overall, the most in league history.
The Wolfpack had 10 individuals reappearing on the All-Academic Team from previous seasons, and two newcomers to the list
In order to be named to the EAGL All-Academic team, student-athletes must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the two previous semesters. Freshmen are also eligible if they earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester.
Of the 96 gymnasts, 17 were honored for the fourth time in their careers. Crisann Calvo, Amanda Jones, Rachel Katz, Brooke Outland and Suzanne Price of North Carolina State were all named to the EAGL All-Academic Team for the fourth time straight year.
