Kay Yow Nike Huarache Excels Available for Sale

RALEIGH, N.C. – The custom-made Nike shoes NC State coach Kay Yow and her players have worn since the second-annual “Hoops for Hope” on Jan. 26 will go on sale to the public on Friday.
The Kay Yow Air Huarache Excel honors the Wolfpack Hall of Fame coach’s battle with breast cancer, as well as the 700-career victory she recorded in February.
The black shoes with pink shoe strings are emblazoned with Coach Yow’s name across the strap on top of the shoes, and were designed specifically for the Wolfpack.
The shoes, which retail for $80, are available at Nike’s on-line store,

Yow and the Wolfpack, which advanced to the ACC Championship game 11 days ago in Greensboro, received the school’s 20th bid to the NCAA Tournament on Monday night. The Wolfapck is the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament’s
RBC
Center in the first round.
Tickets are available for the two days of NCAA action on Sunday and Tuesday.
