Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team fell at No. 5 Virginia Tech 3-0, Saturday night in Blacksburg, Va. The Hokies (10-1-5, 3-0-4 ACC) limited the Wolfpack (6-7-3, 0-5-1 ACC) to just one shot on goal, in remaining undefeated in conference play.
The Wolfpack defense limited the potent Hokies offense to just five shots on goal for the game, but Virgina Tech found the back of the net three times. Virginia Tech struck first with the eventual game winner in the 34th minute, then would go on to add two more goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
The Pack will host its final home game of the season next weekend, taking on ACC foe Duke on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Method Road.
