No. 24 Duke Sweeps Volleyball, 3-0

DURHAM, N.C. NC State volleyball fell in three games to No. 24 Duke (30-21, 30-19, 30-21) on Saturday, Nov. 17, in Durham, N.C. The Blue Devils used 59 kills and a .308 hitting percentage to down the Wolfpack, which managed 29 kills and a .048 hitting clip. The loss sends State to 3-27 (0-20 ACC) on the year, while Duke jumps to 22-6 (17-3 ACC).
Lauren Zaniboni led the red and white with nine kills, and Alex Smith recorded 23 assists. Lindsay Benac had 12 digs, while Ashley Wallace secured three blocks. Four Wolfpackers placed service aces, with Chrissy Zirpolo landing two.
Carrie DeMange (17) and Rachael Moss (16) supplied 33 of Duke’s 56 kills, while Ali Hausfeld etched 50 assists. Four Blue Devils, Jenny Shull (16), DeMange (14) Moss (12) and Claire Smalzer (10) recorded double-digits in digs.
NC State will close out its season next weekend in Florida, taking on Florida State and Miami.
