Inside the Chalk Box: Seniors Focused and Excited

As you all know, the 2008 gymnastics season is approaching. We are all extremely excited to see what our competition has in store for us. Looking back, we were conference champions in 2007, which was an astonishing surprise for many outside of NC State. We are working very hard in the gym and are determined to grab another conference title in '08.
Returning competitive seniors Leigha Hancock, Heather Zolton, Laurie Singer, and myself are ready and focused! We want this year to be amazing! Brittany Crosby, who is also a senior, will hopefully see action this year. She will be a surprise to many. Together, this strong senior class will hold the team together and push everyone forward in reaching every goal.
Brittney Hardiman, Kirsten Such, Brittany Vontz, and Megan Rowell will be great additions this season. Key returners, Ashley Shepard, Elyse Adams, Taylor Seaman and Lauren Deuser will be key competitors as well.
January 11th is our first meet in Arizona and we are excited, focused, and READY! It's showtime!
Also, we look forward to our first home meet on February 3rd!
