John Deere Gator Giveaway Winner Selected

The proud new owner of a brand new John Deere Gator courtesy of John Deere is Brad Jernigan. Brad was in complete disbelief when he received a phone call just before Christmas informing him that he was the winner of the 2006 John Deere Gator Giveaway! Fans had the opportunity to register for the John Deere Gator Giveaway online at GoPack.com or in fan zone at every home football game. Contestants had to guess how many rushing yards the Wolfpack would have during the 2006 regular season. Brad Jernigan did just that, guessing that the Wolfpack would rush for 1,620 yards.
“Are you serious? I’ve never won anything in my life,” Brad said in disbelief. “I’ve wanted one for the longest time; I’ll really be able to put it to good use!” When Brad was asked how he came up with his answer he said, “I wish I could tell people that I used a complex equation to figure it out, but it was just a lucky guess!” Brad couldn’t have picked a better time to make a lucky guess; he’s a newlywed who just moved onto ten acres of land in Willow Spring.
On Monday Brad’s excitement was hard to contain as he anxiously awaited the delivery of the new John Deere Gator with his wife Candace, who drove all the way from
There to deliver the Gator on behalf of John Deere was Turner Revels of Revels Tractor. For the second straight year John Deere teamed up with NC State to give one lucky Wolfpack fan an opportunity to win a John Deere Gator, “John Deere and Revels Tractor are proud supporters of NC State Athletics, and we are delighted to sponsor this great promotion. On behalf of John Deere I would like to congratulate Brad on winning the 2006 John Deere Gator Giveaway.”
No sooner than when Turner Revels handed Brad the keys, he jumped right in and took his wife Candace out for a spin!
