Raleigh, N.C. - Former NC State men’s soccer player Haddon Kirk was selected by Real Salt Lake in the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft on Thursday. Kirk is the third former NC State player to go in either the MLS Draft or the Supplemental Draft over the last two years. Aaron King was selected by the LA Galaxy in last year’s MLS Draft, and John Queeley was selected by the New England Revolution a week later in the Supplemental Draft.
Kirk started every game over the last two seasons for the Wolfpack as a central defender. He notched one assist each season, and helped the Pack to the second round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament.
