World Record Holder
Three Time NCAA All-American
At NC State (2003-2006):
• Qualified to participate in the 2004 Olympic Trials
• Won a gold medal at the World University Games in the 50 meter freestyle
-Set a WUG record in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 22.17 in the semifinals
• Captured seven ACC Championships
- 50 freestyle (2004, 2005, and 2006)
- 100 freestyle (2004, 2006)
- 200 Medley Relay (2005, 2006)
• Best time of 19.07 for 50 freestyle is two-hundreths of a second off of the American record (2006)
- Is also an ACC record, school record, and a top-5 NCAA swim
• Three-time collegiate All-American (2004, 2005, 2006)
* 2006 ACC Swimmer of the Year and ACC Meet MVP
On the world stage (2006-Present):
• Jones wins the Silver medal at the 2007 FINA World Championships in the 50m Freestyle.
• Jones helps USA Team win gold in the 400m Freestyle Relay at the 2007 FINA World Championships.
• Member of the World Championship team that traveled to Melbourne, Australia from March 25 - April 1, 2007.

• Will compete in the "Dual in the Pool" in Sydney, Australia in a dual meet between the USA and Austarlian teams
• Named to the 2006 USA National B Team

- Won a gold medal in the 50 freestyle at the Pan Pacs- Set a world record in the 4x100 relay at the Pan Pacs
• Competed at the US Nationals in the 50 freestyle. Won with a time of 21.94, the fastest in the world in 2006 up to that point
• Won the 50 freestyle at the US Open in 2006
• 2008 Olympic hopeful
