THE ULTIMATE REWARDS SWEEPSTAKES 2007

1. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter The Ultimate Rewards Sweepstakes 2007 (the “Sweepstakes”), beginning 12:00:01 AM ET September 19, 2007 and ending 11:59:59 PM ET October 16, 2007:
a) To enter the Sweepstakes bring an Official Entry Form, available at participating Lowes Foods stores, while supplies last, during regular store hours to a Lowes Foods cashier and ask him/her to scan the barcode located on the bottom of the entry form and to scan your Rewards Card. If you do not have a Rewards Card you may apply for a free Rewards Card at the Customer Service Desk at any participating Lowes Foods store. See chart below for entry receipt dates for each drawing. Entries must be received by close of business on October 16, 2007 to be eligible for the last drawing. Neither the Sponsors nor the Sponsor Affiliates are responsible for lost, late or damaged entries, which will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned or acknowledged.
b) For automatic entry, use your Lowes Rewards Card (the “Rewards Card”) for any purchase of a participating product (refer to Addendum “A”) at a participating Lowes Foods store during regular store hours from September 19, 2007 through October 16, 2007. If you do not have a Rewards Card you may apply for a free Rewards Card at the Customer Service Desk at any participating Lowes Foods store. Neither Lowes Foods, The Clorox Company, Wolfpack Sports Marketing, Tar Heel Sports Marketing, Acosta Sales and Marketing, Bush Brothers, Welch’s, Heinz, Blistex, Vlasic, Bird Eye, Delizza, MatchPoint Marketing, Tyson (“Sponsors”), their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees or agencies, nor any of their respective partners or prize suppliers (collectively, the “Sponsor Affiliates”) are responsible for electronic network, scanner or computer hardware or software malfunction and/or transmission failure, loss or delayed or corrupted data transmissions, or any technical or human failures, errors or difficulties of any kind.

Entries will be carried forward for subsequent promotion period’s drawings, if any. Odds of winning depend on the eligible number of entries received by each period’s end date. Prizes are for Sponsor-specified games only and must be accepted as awarded. No alternate dates are available. Prizes must be used on date specified or prize will be forfeited. Date is subject to change. Transportation is not included with any prize. Sponsors are not responsible for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled games and, in the event of cancellation, Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. All minors at game must be accompanied at all times by an adult.
*The Grand Prize Ultimate Rewards Package consists of eight (8) tickets to the UNC at NC State game on November 10, 2007, two (2) VIP parking passes for the winner’s Tailgate party, $100 Lowes Foods gift card to use for the party, Tailgating tent (NC State or UNC), and an autographed football from either Coach O’Brien or Coach Davis.
Winners will be selected in random drawings (see chart above for drawing dates), from among all eligible entries received by each drawing date. Drawings will be conducted by a representative of Lowes Foods, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential winners will be notified by phone and/or mail and will be required to complete and return either an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release for Grand Prize winner or a Release of Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) for First Prize winner. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected, time permitting. All ticket and Grand Prize winners’ guests (or parent/legal guardian if guest is a minor in his/her state of residence) must execute a Release of Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) prior to use of prize. Winners are responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes, if applicable. Limit one prize per person/family/household/address.
4. GENERAL RULES: In the event this Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Sponsors reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend the Sweepstakes and in such event, to select winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to such time of cancellation, termination or suspension. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. All aspects of the prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are allowed except at the Sponsors’ sole discretion. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned. Winners agree to indemnify and hold harmless and waive any and all claims of liability of any kind whatsoever against the Sponsors and/or the Sponsor Affiliates including any accident, loss, injury or death occurring or in any way related to the prize or use/misuse thereof or while traveling to and/or from a location to obtain or use the prize. Neither the Sponsors nor the Sponsor Affiliates make any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the prizes including, without limitation, quality, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Winners, in accepting their prizes, consent to the use of their names, addresses (city, state), photographs and likenesses for purposes of advertising, trade and promoting in any and all media on behalf of the Sponsors, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
