Gymnastics Starts Preparing for Season

Raleigh, N.C. - Hey gymnastic fans! Welcome back for another great year of Wolfpack Gymnastics. Our schedule is up and we are getting ready for our first day of practice. This years schedule might be NC State’s most difficult in recent memory. Some highlights at home are the seven-time and defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs, top-five University of Nebraska and top-15 University of Arizona! We are also traveling to the SEC twice to compete against Auburn and Florida. NC State will also battle against CAROLINA!!
This year’s team looks to improve on last years #22 final national ranking. We have added three top gymnast to the squad. Coach Stevenson feels like this might be his strongest recruiting class ever. Taylor Seaman from Pittsburgh is one of the best recruits in the country on floor. She has the ability to complete very difficult tricks for a freshman. Olga Bondrikova, who hails from Alabama but has a family history in the former Soviet Union, is certainly one of the most polished gymnast in the nation. Lauren Dueser, from Raleigh will add potential on all four events. And lets not forget about all the returning talent we have coming back from last years squad.
