Foster Earns All-America Honors

Raleigh, N.C. - For the second straight year, Ebony Foster of the NC State track & field team earned All-America honors in the 100 meter hurdles, as she placed sixth today with her top time of the weekend of 13.05 at the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif. Foster is the first female in the sprints for NC State to earn All-America honors two straight years. Also on the women's side tonight, Julia Lucas placed 14th in the finals of the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:33.59.
NC State will have one more competitor tomorrow, when Mitchell Pope competes in the finals of the shot put starting at 3:00 p.m. eastern time.
