Golf with Gary Promotion Held at Crooked Creek

Just in time to talk about the new basketball coach, two lucky fans won the "Golf with Gary" contest and played a round of golf with the "Voice of the Wolfpack", Gary Hahn. The Golf with Gary promotion was held at Crooked Creek Golf Club in Fuquay-Varina.
Pete Luca from Raleigh and David Britt from Willow Spring spent the afternoon with Gary and enjoyed a round of golf as well as the opportunity to ask questions about the Wolfpack.
"I had a great time on a beautiful day. Crooked Creek was in awesome shape and the staff there was fantastic", said Hahn. Contestant winner Pete Luca added, "It is not every day that you get to play a round of golf with the 'Voice of the Wolfpack'."
Hahn maintains that he doesn't play a lot of golf, but shot 86 despite a couple duffed shots and missed short putts. David and Pete both shot 92 to close out the day.
Crooked Creek Golf Course has been a corporate sponsor of NC State for three years. It is home to the annual Wolfpack Sports Marketing golf tournament as well as one of the practice courses for the NC State men's and women's golf teams.
