Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2005 semester 236 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 118 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor soccer's Tami Krzeszewski and swimming and diving's Austin Hampton.

Tami Krzeszewski has made the transition from high school to college look easy. The native of Erie, Pennsylvania, settled right into the lineup of the NC State Women's Soccer team as a freshman. And, in the classroom, Tami put up great numbers in her social work major. She compiled a 3.89 Total Grade Point Average. Tami was also named to the NC State Dean's List for the fall semester of 2005.

It didn't take Austin Hampton long to dive into college life. Flying off the diving board is part of being a member of the NC State Men's Swimming and Diving team. This fabulous freshman, who hails from St. Petersburg, Florida, has also earned high marks in the classroom. Austin has compiled a 4.00 Total Grade Point Average in his double major of biomedical engineering and business. He was also named to the NC State Dean's List for the fall semester of 2005.
Congratulations to both Tami and Austin and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
