Sophomore Leigha Hancock finished in a tie for first on floor with a 9.9, meaning she has qualified for the NCAA Championships. She becomes the first NC State gymnast to win an event at the NCAA Regionals. The host and No. 1 Georgia (197.425) and No. 12 Nebraska (196.350) each advanced to the NCAA Championships with their first and second place finishes. No. 13 Missouri placed third (195.325), with North Carolina fourth (194.300), and West Virginia tied with NC State for fifth with a 193.925.
