NC State Unveils 2006 Volleyball Schedule

NC State volleyball coach Charita J. Stubbs announced today the 2006 schedule. The Wolfpack begins it 31st year of volleyball this fall as it opens a new era under first-year coach Stubbs.

Highlighted by a double round robin ACC slate, featuring 22 conference contests against all 11 league foes, both home and away, the schedule opens with three non-conference tournaments over the first three weekends. First serve is at Charlotte's Spring Hill Suites Classic, Aug. 25-26, where the Pack will take on Charlotte, The Citadel and East Tennessee State. Hosting the annual Wolfpack Classic Sept. 1-2, in historic Reynolds Coliseum, NC State will face Chattanooga, Winthrop and Colorado before heading to Kent, Ohio to play in the Kent State Invitational Sept. 8-9.
