FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Jemissa Hess captured eighth place in the women's 3,000m run at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships Saturday night to earn All-American honors. Representing NC State, the junior from Manassass, Va., ran a 9:22.77 at the University of Arkansas' Randal Tyson Indoor Track.
That concludes the indoor track & field season. NC State opens the outdoor track & field season next weekend at the 49er Invitational in Charlotte, N.C. March 16-18.
