Women's Soccer Spring ACC Tournament Welcomes

NC State women's soccer is participating in the 2006 "Kicks Against Breast Cancer" campaign in conjunction with the Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource and Image Center and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The event, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 1, at the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Soccer Spring Tournament at the SAS Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., will raise money via donations to benefit the named partners. The event will feature eight of the 11 ACC soccer teams. Matches will be played throughout the day.

Since the tournament's inception, it has raised over $250,000 to benefit the Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource and Image Center, an affiliate of the Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, and to provide free mammography services through the Claudia Mayer Breast Cancer Foundation. Without your generous support, our great success would not have been possible. This year, the tournament proceeds will be shared between the Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource and Image Center and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Triangle Affliliate.
Schedule of Games
9 a.m.: UNC v VT (game A) and BC v Clem (game B)
10 a.m.: Winner of A & B (game E) and Loser of A & B (game G)
11 a.m.: UVA v NCST (game C)and Duke v Wake (game D)
12 p.m.: Winner of C & D (game F)and Loser of C & D (game H)
1 p.m.: Winner of E & F and Loser of E & F
2 p.m.: Winner of G & H and Loser of G & H
All games will be played at SAS Soccer Park in Cary, NC on Fields 4 & 5.
