NC State mascot Mr. Wuf is now competing in the semifinals of the 2006 Capital One Mascot Challenge, with the hopes of winning $10,000 for the school’s mascot and cheerleading program.
Mr. Wuf finished with a 9-2 record in the regular season, the best of any of the 12 mascots in this year’s challenge. He had a bye last week and now faces Butch T. Cougar of
Fans can log in every day this week to vote for Mr. Wuf at http://www.capitalonebowl.com/.
At stake for the NC State cheerleading squad is an additional $5,000 donation to the school’s mascot program. Each of the 12 mascots selected for this year’s challenge has already earned a $5,000 donation from Capital One for their school’s mascot program.
