A total of 31 NC State student-athletes received their degrees on Wednesday during fall semester commencement exercises.
Eighteen of those student-athletes attended a pre-graduation breakfast, hosted by the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes. Athletics director Lee Fowler and many head coaches, including new football coach Tom O’Brien attended the breakfast with the student-athletes and their parents, to celebrate the graduation exercises.
Among the winter graduates were two volleyball players, five men’s and women’s swimmers and divers, one men’s tennis player, two softball players, eight football players, five cheerleaders, four men’s and women’s soccer players, three baseball players and one wrestler.
