Volleyball To Battle Georgia Tech, Clemson

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State volleyball team will host Georgia Tech and Clemson this weekend, continuing Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play. The Pack will face the Yellow Jackets on Friday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum, before taking on the Tigers on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Dail Basketball Center. Only the first 100 fans will be admitted into the Dail Center for the match against Clemson.
NC State enters play with a 2-23 (0-16 ACC) record. Chrissy Zirpolo posts 2.62 kills per game, while Allison Davis hoists an average of nine assists per contest. Kelley Blakewood leads the squad with 22 service aces and Andrea Bentley contributes 2.62 digs per set. Aiwane Iboaya blocks 1.06 attacks per game.
The Pack last played Georgia Tech on Saturday, Oct. 14, in Atlanta, Ga., falling 3-0. Talisa Kellogg leads the Yellow Jackets with 3.55 kills per game. Allie Niekamp is third in the ACC with 11.71 assists per contest, while Lindsey Gray is third in the conference with 46 service aces. The Yellow Jackets stand at 15-10 (7-8 ACC).
Clemson topped the Pack, 3-0, on Friday, Oct. 13, in Clemson, S.C. Jeannette Abbot leads the conference with 4.60 kills per game, as Danielle Hepburn leads the league with 1.75 blocks per set. Kelsey Murphy adds 10.33 assists per contest. The Tigers own a 16-7 (11-4 ACC) slate.
