Teams Set for 2006 Women's College Cup

Raleigh, N.C. - It started with 64 teams, and now it is down to just four. The field has been set for the 2006 Women’s College Cup, set to be played this weekend at SAS Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The first game set for Friday at 3:30 p.m. will feature North Carolina (25-1) against UCLA (21-3). The second game that day, set to begin at about 6:00 p.m. will be Florida State (18-3-4) versus Notre Dame (24-0-1). The championship game will be Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
NC State University, Capital Area Soccer League (CASL), and the Town of Cary will host the championship event December 1-3 at SAS Soccer Park.
The College Cup will be held at SAS Soccer Park for the third time in the last four years, as North Carolina won the event in 2003 and Notre Dame took home top honors in 2004.
