Volleyball to Host Hokies, Cavaliers

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State volleyball team will continue Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play this weekend, hosting Virginia Tech and Virginia at home. The Pack will face Virginia Tech on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m., before taking on Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. Both matches will take place at Reynolds Coliseum on the NC State campus. The red and white enter the weekend with a 2-18 (0-11 ACC) record on the season.

Keshia Raibon leads the Pack wih 2.87 kills per game, while Allison Davis remains consistent with 9.29 assists per set. Davis and Kelley Blakewood each hold 21 service aces, tops on the squad. Andrea Bentley adds 2.46 digs per contest while Aiwane Iboaya rounds out the team with 1.05 blocks per game.
Virginia Tech enters the weekend with a 12-9 (6-6 ACC) record. Amanda Cloyd leads the Hokies with 4.93 digs per game, third in conference play. Taylor Parrish averages 3.61 kills per set while Michelle Lang adds 11.38 assists. Cloyd also leads the team in service aces with 28 on the season while Allie Kupec contributes 1.19 blocks per contest.
Virginia enters the match at 15-6 (8-4 ACC). Emily Kirkwood leads the conference with 13.13 assists per game while Sarah Kirkwood leads the league in service aces with 31. Katie Oakes is first in the ACC in blocks with 1.76 per set. Melissa Caldwell contributes 3.60 digs per set.
