Volleyball to Face Eagles, Terrapins at Home

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State will hit the midway point of its Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) schedule this weekend while hosting Boston College and Maryland. The Pack will challenge the Eagles on Friday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. and battle the Terrapins on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. Both matches will take place at Reynolds Coliseum on the NC State campus. The red and white enter the weekend with a 2-16 (0-9 ACC) record.
Keshia Raibon leads the Pack with 2.97 kills per game followed closely by Chrissy Zirpolo with a 2.74 average. Allison Davis contributes 9.20 assits per set while Aiwane Ibaoya averages .95 blocks. Zirpolo leads the team in digs with 2.33 per contest while Kelley Blakewood adds 2.30 digs per set.
Boston College stands at 6-12 (4-5 ACC) on the season. Kelsey Johnson is third in ACC play with 3.90 kills per game while Allison Anderson is second in the conference with 5.15 digs per contest. Taylor Williams leads the Eagles with 27 service aces with Abigail Hasebroock adds .84 blocks per contest.
Maryland enters the weekend with a 8-10 (1-8 ACC) record. Jade Brown is sixth in ACC play with 3.79 kills per game. Katie Usher is third in the conference with 1.43 blocks per contest followed closely by Meredith Doyle who is ranked fifth with 1.33 blocks per set. Tedi Doucet holds an average of 4.66 assists while Maggie Schmelzle adds 2.85 digs per game.
