Raleigh, N.C. - Former NC State men's soccer player Aaron King was selected by the L.A. Galaxy in the fourth round of the 2006 MLS SuperDraft held in Philadelphia on Friday afternoon. King was a three-time first-team All-ACC selection from 2003-05, and was named a second-team All-American this past season. King became only the second player in school history to lead the Pack in goals and points all four seasons, and finished his career with 44 goals (fourth in school history) and 103 points (seventh all-time).
King is the first Pack player selected in the MLS SuperDraft since Shaker Asad was chosen by the New England Revolution in the third round in 2000.
