Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team will kick-off a three-game homestand when the Pack plays host to Elon Wednesday afternoon at the Method Road Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. The Pack (3-3-1) will step out of conference play and face a talented Phoenix (4-2-1) squad. NC State fell at No. 4 Virginia over the weekend 2-1, just days after tying No. 2 North Carolina 2-2 at SAS Soccer Stadium. If the weather does not hold up, the Elon game could be moved to SAS at 2:00 p.m. GoPack.com will have any venue changes.
Elon already has two wins this season at Method Road, when the Phoenix took home a 2-0 in the Wolfpack Adidas Classic to kickoff their season. Elon downed Mercer and Fairfield each by a goal, but has gone 0-2-1 in their last three games after opening the season with four straight wins.
