Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team will see home action for first time this season on Saturday and Sunday, as NC State hosts the Adidas Wolfpack Classic. The Pack will host Fairfield on Saturday at 4:00 p.m., and then Mercer on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Both of those games are scheduled to be held at Method Road, and both games are the second of a doubleheader of soccer on the day.
The Adidas/Wolfpack Classic starts on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., with Elon facing Mercer. The Pack will then follow that game and play the Fairfield Stags. On Sunday, the first game of the day is Elon against Fairfield at 12:00 p.m., with NC State taking on Mercer right after.
The Pack opened its season with a tough 2-1 loss at No. 22 Old Dominion on Thursday night. The Monarch's Trevor Banks put ODU up 1-0 with his first half goal. NC State then came back with a goal by senior Aaron King, but only 18 seconds after the Pack tied the game ODU's Banks would strike again for the decisive goal.
