Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team will look to extend its four-match unbeaten streak when the Pack (3-2-1, 0-0-1 ACC) travels to Charlottesville, Va., and takes on No. 4 Virginia in a road ACC contest. NC State is 3-0-1 over the last four games, including a couple of dramatic finishes within the pack week over two top-10 squads. NC State used a goal from Matthew Lytle with just five seconds remaining to down No. 7 St. John's last weekend in the Duke/adidas Tournament, and just this past Wednesday night, El Hadj Cisse forced overtime against No. 2 North Carolina with his goal coming with only five-tenths of a second remaining in the Pack's first ACC contest of the season.
The Cavs (3-0-1) come into this weekends contest ranked No. 4 nationally in the NSCAA poll and No. 12 in the Soccer America Poll. Virginia down Longwood 4-0 in a home match Wednesday night, and the Cavs have yet to give up a goal in their first four games of the season.
The Pack and the Cavs will kickoff Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., and fans can follow the game on gametracker off the NC State men's soccer home page on GoPack.com.
